David is from a small village in the UK. He completed his Chemistry Master degree at the University of Durham in 2016 with Prof Martin Bryce, working on the synthesis of a new class of donor acceptor materials. He is now a joint PhD student between Mons and the University St Andrews (Scotland). While in Mons under the supervision of Dr. Yoann Olivier, he works both on the modeling of Thermally activated delayed fluorescent (TADF) emitters and on device fabrication of these emitters in Organic light emitting Diodes (OLEDs). While in St Andrews, he works under the supervision of Dr. Eli Zysman-Colman and focuses on emitter synthesis and photophysical studies of these materials. His main research interest is novel TADF emitter design, synthesis and characterisation for OLED applications.
