Pablo was born on August 29, 2013. He is the first child of Johannes Gierschner and Begoña Millan-Medina. Johannes and Begoña met when they both were postdocs in Mons a few years ago.

They now work in Spain; Johannes is senior scientist at IMDEA in Madrid and Begoña is lecturer at the University of Valencia.
