Biosketch

Titouan Teunens received a Master’s degree in Chemistry from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2019. His master thesis was done under the supervision of Prof. Cécile Moucheron in the Photochemistry and Organic Chemistry group. He studied the photophysical and photochemical properties of ruthenium complexes used as a photosensor or photoreactive agents towards genetic material. At the end of 2019, he joined as a Ph.D. the Laboratory of Novel Materials group at the University of Mons and the Photochemistry and Organic Chemistry group at the ULB, in the context of a joint research project under the supervision of Prof. Jérôme Cornil and Prof. Cécile Moucheron. The main goal of his project is the theoretical and experimental study of Cu(I) complexes used as photosensitizers for CO₂ photoreduction.
